CPU Won't Overclock
CPU Won't Overclock
There seems to be an issue with updating the CPU ratio beyond its default setting of 3.5ghz. Despite trying various adjustments and settings, the change doesn't take effect after saving or exiting. When I return to the BIOS, the previous changes remain unchanged, but the system still doesn't update properly when I restart Windows. I currently have an i5 6600k processor with a Z170M-Plus motherboard and 2x4GB of 2666MHz RAM. I'm trying to understand why this isn't working and need assistance.
Do you possess the most recent BIOS version? Should adjustments be made to the vCore voltage?
Do you possess the most recent BIOS? Are there any adjustments to the vCore voltage? I currently have the newest BIOS and have implemented several modifications to the vCore, though after saving or exiting it, the updates remain unchanged when I return to the BIOS settings.
