CPU voltage SPIKES
CPU voltage SPIKES
I'm using an i5 6600k OC at 4.5ghz. In the BIOS I've set the voltage to manual and it reads 1.3 volts. CPU-Z shows it fluctuating above that value (reaching 1.311 and going higher). If I keep the voltage the same, adaptive changes don't occur. I checked other discussions on this forum and the main fix was turning off Turbo Boost in the BIOS. I tried disabling Turbo Mode in the BIOS but couldn't find any specific option for it. I assumed that was the issue, but it still didn't solve the problem. I also disabled the CPU-to-power communication in the BIOS and followed the instructions there. Anyone have suggestions?
