I recently started using BF again and noticed performance issues matching disk usage peaks. With a 512GB SSD in my laptop, this was unexpected. I switched the game to an external 850GB eMMC and updated some older stable drivers. However, this caused another issue—CPU usage stayed high. I usually turn off turbo boost for quieter fans, but now it’s stuck at 100% whether turbo is on or off. The frame rate is okay but changes a lot due to the CPU load. A quick cleanup cleaned things up and malwarebytes found no threats. Any suggestions to resolve this?

It's related to the processor in your system. You mentioned an i7 3770, but you also have an Athlon ii x4 860k running at full capacity in BIOS 4. I need to confirm which CPU is being used.

It worked well on my desktop, but now I'm using it on my laptop this summer. It has an i7 4702 hq processor... I think it performs similarly to an i5 3570k at normal speeds. The problems seem to appear one map at a time, which is why I only managed about 80% performance, causing the frame rate to drop.
