It’s normal for CPU usage to hit 105%, but it usually means your system is under heavy load. Check if any background apps or processes are consuming most of the resources. Consider closing unnecessary programs or upgrading hardware if needed.

It's a minor issue, just a reporting error. This is probably the best Windows feature for monitoring—though it doesn't work perfectly.

the resource monitor behaves unexpectedly. it might be tracking the cpu clock speed with a base of 100%, so a device running at 2gHz base and 3gHz boost could display "150%". i think the cpu usage chart stays at 100%, but some displays show a single core as fully loaded. this means a quad-core processor could technically appear at 400% usage in certain cases.
