Your system performance seems affected by CPU utilization. You might want to check your CPU settings or consider optimizing it for better efficiency.

Check how each core is being used. It seems one or possibly two cores are operating at full capacity. GTA online isn’t very multithreaded, which likely explains this. You can’t make the system use more cores unless you have access to the underlying code.

GTA relies more on the GPU than the CPU. What’s your setup?

It seems close to an R5 1600, but it might be the AF model with Zen+ cores. The original version worked well on my 6600k too. Performance dropped over time—once it slowed down a bit, it was harder to run high settings smoothly. The game felt unstable around 1.5–2 years ago, and now it’s quite outdated compared to what it used to be.

OP mentioned a 5700, likely a Radeon RX 5700, that could handle this old game.

Oh no, I forgot about that! What’s with the thermal layers?

In a solo setting, performance might vary widely across platforms, even without heavily utilizing the GPU.

Online performance is really disappointing. I've managed 3770, 4820K, 8750H, and now 12600KF with a 1050Ti—only the 12600KF has kept me above 60 FPS consistently (except for the office garages, which are slow).
