On my MSI motherboard overclocking configuration, the CPU current load (a) shows Auto at 256A, while switching to manual mode also displays 256A. This indicates the same value regardless of whether it's set to auto or manual. MSI Z590 Pro Wi-Fi! 11700K running at 4.8GHz with all cores fixed. 32GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM with XMP enabled, RTX3060 Ti 8GB, and a 1TB NVMe drive.

It's identical unless you alter the settings; keep it on auto.
