CPU Upgrade(3900x)
Hello, looking for an upgrade for my R9 3900X (OC), somewhere in between gaming and animation rendering improvements. Considered 7900X and 13700K, any ideas? I haven’t done much research on the latest CPUs yet. Paired with an RTX 2080 Super OC at 1440p!

the Ryzen 7950X looks to be the best option for rendering and gaming. 13700k or 13900k for video editing cuz of Intel quick sync.
Get the Thermal Grizzly AM5 Adapter & Offset Mounting Kit for optimised cpu cooling. you need the offset mounts to account for the hot spot in 7950X
your PSU might need an upgrade. Whats the make and model?
