Hey there! Your new PC setup looks solid after fixing the SSD problem. Using HWINFO helped confirm everything seems normal. You noticed CPU temperatures spiking to 100°C during gameplay, especially when launching Battlefield 2042, though the actual readings never hit that high. Those spikes are just a brief moment and don’t appear on the graph. Your temps stay stable otherwise, and other games behave normally. It might be a quirky behavior from HWINFO, but it doesn’t seem like a serious issue. With your specs—especially the RTX 3080ti and strong RAM—this is likely just normal performance variation. No major concerns here!

It seems the game is likely starting quickly and then slowing down at full temperature, which suggests throttling is happening. The fact that it stays under 100°C appears to indicate the throttling is functioning properly. During gameplay, there are no sudden spikes, so it looks reasonable. Some users might have insights—please feel free to share if you think I'm correct or incorrect. @Levent @PDifolco

It seems like there might be an issue with the data handling, if it truly reached 100°C during launch it shouldn't drop temperature so quickly
