CPU testing topic Question about performance evaluation and benchmarking.
Hi everyone , so I'm writing this topic because my old computer burned out. 420V was sent to my house by mistake and as a result my pc died after some testing I managed to see that my RAM is dead as well as my GPU. I bought back everything but the CPU. Is there any risk for my new computer that I try my old processor ( R7 5800x ) on my new motherboard to know if I should buy a new one ? Or is it better that I buy a new CPU directly? My new motherboard is a B550 gaming a from ASUS ( the same as my old one that is a 100% dead too )
