CPU temps
Hi, I've been playing quite a bit of Warzone and noticed my CPU temperatures have risen significantly. To fix it, I increased the fan speeds on both the AIO cooler and other fans to 1400rpm and 1200rpm, applied new thermal paste (Arctic MX4), and came back down to around 70-75°C. The GPU temperature dropped from 75 to about 65°C in-game. I also fixed the CPU temp from 75 to 65 while gaming, but it still spikes a lot. My cooler is a Corsair H100X, and I'm considering switching to an air cooler like Fuma 2 or D15. It wouldn't be too much trouble, but would replacing it really help? Also, is a 3.2 GHz i7-8700 good with a 2070 Super? Thanks in advance!
Looking for a method to return to stock could significantly lower FPS, but I'm curious about using the 2070 Super with this setup once it's available.
The 8700, particularly the K variant, functions as a reliable heat machine. Warzone demands significant CPU power, but a 3700x paired with a 360mm AIO never exceeds 65°C. Temperatures between 70-75°C are manageable and within safe limits.
Thank you for the note, I actually got a fan placed near my desk. It should help keep the heat off my legs while I play.
