This was an unusual experience I hadn't seen before. My CPU temperatures have been a bit high since I installed this PC (operating at 80°C when idle) with my original Intel cooler. The strange part was after completing a CPU stress test, my temperatures dropped significantly. Now it stays around 50-60°C when idle and only reaches up to 78°C under load. I'm not sure what's happening or if it's a problem.
I track temperatures using available sensors. My CPU is [insert model if known].
I check the actual CPU temperature and also use afterburner. I double-checked with another tool because I wasn't sure afterburner was showing the right reading. My CPU is an Intel i7-3770.
