I’ve checked my setup and noticed the temperatures stay within normal ranges during gaming. When I switched to Power Saver, the GPU cooled better but performance dropped noticeably. It seems balancing cooling and performance matters a lot. Running in Power Saver might save energy but could affect frame rates if not tuned properly.

If I had the same results, that would mean I’m already taking the right actions. It suggests a possible imbalance in the system. Even no system can be completely perfectly balanced.

My GPU is a 2080 Super with 16GB of RAM. From what I understand, the higher temperature comes from its blower design.

9700 is 8/8. More than is needed for current stuff but the future is the future. Come 2022 or so you might find power saver may not be enough. It’s a ways off though.
