The new setup I developed experiences rapid CPU temperature changes, leading to loud fan operation. This means the temperature jumps from 44°C to 68°C in just a few seconds and then returns to 44°C. The attached HWiNFO64 chart displays both temperature and CPU load. System performance stayed within 2-3% usage. Details: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/ibodnarchuk/saved/Hp23RB OS: Windows 11 Home Edition BIOS version 5.01 (https://pg.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z790 PG Lightning/index.asp#BIOS). I've also added a screenshot from a 3DMark stress test that confirms the same pattern. What might be causing this fluctuation? It seems unusual for such wide swings in seconds, but it’s worth investigating further.

It seems you're looking to adjust the fan settings further. Your 5900X can handle that until you increase the fan speed a bit more.

Adjust the fan curve and hysteresis to prevent fans from turning on during short temperature spikes. For example, if the temperature rises from 44 to 68 and remains stable for 5 to 10 seconds, then activate the fans.

You're seeing a straightforward link between CPU heat and fan rotation. No advanced settings appear to be available in the current version of Lian Li L-Connect 3.

Argus seems to have potential! I'm still having trouble getting it to function or identifying the CPU fans. So far, only the water pump is working. I'll keep trying, as it looks promising.

I successfully got Argus running. However, the RPMs aren't being recognized because it's processing through the Lian-Li Uni hub.
