Fan kinds and their lowest speeds affect temperatures. Changing from my old NZXT AIO models to BeQuiet! fans reduced the C ratings. Increasing the RPM beyond hearing limits also lowered idle temps slightly.
If you could, adding a couple more exhaust fans would help. How many would work best with your Arctic P12 units?
It's simple enough to test both options, see which one performs better. I recommend skipping any stress now—try the two setups we discussed and evaluate them. If you're still not satisfied, consider swapping fans or adjusting their curves. As noted, updating the fan curve can significantly impact results. Personally, I use FanControl to manage the bottom fan based on GPU temperature, the top fan on CPU temperature, and the rear fan using the higher speed setting.
I’d test every possible setting I could imagine for that arrangement. Sometimes the outcome surprises us and leads to improved results.
