the cpu temperature is rising quickly, hitting 91 before dropping to 55, indicating issues likely. during games, the temp jumps rapidly from 80 to 95 and back down.

The laptop was previously undervolted by the manufacturer, and I found YouTube videos discussing this model. Its temperatures are very low during gaming, and the fans perform well. I believe the issue isn’t related to the thermal paste since the laptop is new and has been in use for about four months.

the device sits directly on the surface or rests on one of those cooling pads (highly advised). has this setup always been this way? set the power mode to balanced, not performance. it only adds extra voltage to the cpu without any real benefit if it's already connected to the outlet. i wouldn’t want to force a 9750h into full load in performance mode without proper cooling.

I enabled power mode and set the processor to maximum. The plugged-in device runs at high Fortnite settings with around 70-80 FPS. CPU temperature stays under 83 and remains stable. Switching to best performance raises the CPU temp to 90s, which I prefer but sadly causes a loss of about 15 FPS between modes in this zone.
