I encountered an issue with my aio cooler not effectively cooling the CPU. It's possible the connections weren't set correctly, but I can share more details if you'd like. Please send additional pictures whenever needed.

Checking the pump status is straightforward. If you connect it to CPU_FAN, it won't function as intended and could cause issues. Using it on CPU_OPT might work but may not be the recommended setting.

Review your motherboard guide, CPU_OPT header on Aorus boards can be adjusted either for fan or pump. Because you use an AIO, consult the AIO manual if they prompt about setting duty cycle to 100% or not. Some boards include a pump header (set automatically at 100%) and you can manually adjust speed if needed.

Your CPU_OPT header is configured as your intake fan. You can switch it to pump mode in BIOS (Smar Fan 6).

97C isn't functioning properly, don't allow anyone to suggest otherwise. Your AIO isn't working at full capacity since it's not connected.
