You can ask why your CPU usage is high. 75% is normal, but 100% would be an issue. Only reaching 75% suggests performance limits come from other areas like frame rate caps or GPU usage. Are you struggling to maintain the desired frame rates? I've played BF1 on an i5-6600K and often see CPU usage between 75–95%, yet I still manage smooth gameplay. It's about hitting your target frames without stuttering.

The issue appears to be linked to CPU performance affecting frame rate, as increased usage causes lag and stuttering. It might be a bottleneck situation.

Do you support DirectX 12? It seems DX12 isn't fully supported in Battlefield 1, often leading to performance issues like stuttering or lag. Most users appear to be moving on from it now.

I think I've identified the issue. My ASUS PG348Q monitor has a boost setting at 100Hz. I noticed the BF1 options range from 60 to 144. I set it to 60, disabled DX12, and also enabled V-Sync since I experienced screen tearing without it. Now I'm seeing stable 60fps with no tearing or performance drops, and the CPU usage stays around 30%.
