You must obtain the RwDrv.zip file from Mega and extract it. Place the RwDrv.sys file into your ThrottleStop directory. Raise the PP0 Current Limit to 100. Use ThrottleStop to lower your CPU core and cache offset voltages by -100 mV each. This is generally a good starting point for testing. Examine the Unlock Adjustable Voltage section, shift the offset slider left, and click Apply. Your voltage request should appear in the monitoring table at the top-right of the FIVR window. Check the Offset column. Execute Cinebench R20 to assess your CPU’s speed and power usage. Capture screenshots when running the test with the Limit Reasons window active. Some U-series CPUs may reduce performance to 15 Watts during this process. If successful, your CPU might exceed 15 Watts.
You haven’t encountered those annoying pads before, have you? I’ve dealt with many, but they just add noise and don’t really aid in thermals. The laptop fans already provide enough airflow; the real problem lies in surface area and heat conductivity. @Eclipse444 be mindful of throttle stops—you can achieve a lot of progress or cause significant harm.
Fortnite is running smoothly now. Screen temperature readings may vary slightly, so it’s best to enable the ThrottleStop Log File feature for accurate performance tracking after you finish playing.
