With two RAM modules installed, the system fails to start and the cooling fan increases briefly before returning to normal. Using a single stick resolves the issue.

Found a random RAM stick from an older Acer build—it’s an ASRock H310 CMV, running a Core i5-9400F.

They delivered it in a way that seemed odd, but I fixed everything back so the system runs perfectly with the 1 8GB RAM stick from 2022-12-29.

The memory controller resides on the CPU. If pins are bent, contact quality drops, the board shows signs of wear, or the CPU itself is affected... It's just old hardware, not a significant failure.
