I've noticed my CPU performance dropping significantly at low temperatures. On my I7 13700F Intel Core, it maintains normal speed in non-intensive games but slows to 3.5-3.9GHz once the temperature hits around 45°C. I'm trying to adjust the safety threshold to 75°C to prevent this slowdown, especially since the frame rate drops below my desired settings. However, I can't find a way to modify this setting on my B-760 Plus motherboard. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

get a tool similar to hwinfo and check if the thermal throttling indicator turns on during occasional CPU slowdowns. This happens when the processor reduces speed to save power when it's idle or under light use.

Check the throttling indicators provided by HWINFO. If the temperature is low, it likely means power restrictions are in effect. By default, turbo power limits are set quite low on non-K series CPUs. To achieve peak performance, you should raise those limits well beyond the Intel specifications.
