This update came right after a fresh install of the latest Nvidia GPU driver (version 526.47). It seems strange that restarting was needed to complete the setup. BIOS settings look fine, and all technical parameters are correct. Performance drops noticeably once the system boots, with fans spinning at about 80% (25% is typical) and noticeable power draw. The CPU stays under 21% usage, but Throttle Stop indicates peak performance is just above 10W with a max temperature around 35°C. It looks like the hardware isn't handling the load well under these conditions. Any suggestions?

Consider testing the last driver that resolved the issue. Some users are experiencing unusual problems.

No, it exceeds the 100% load threshold.

It doesn't reach full performance, capping at 21% even when stressed.

I encountered a problem after updating the latest NVIDIA driver, which made my GPU fluctuate rapidly between 100% and 0% every second. It stopped working until I disabled GPU acceleration scheduling. This appears to be a flaw in the current driver version, and going back to an older one might resolve the issue.

Returning to the prior driver didn't help. A restart didn't change anything.* Updated October 27, 2022 by The2nd2246

If this was my setup the next step would be to restore the BIOS to default configurations for a clean beginning and to verify there are no external modifications. Eliminate all software tuning, such as OC adjustments.

No, you haven't used ThrottleStop to disable BD PROCHOT before.

I encountered comparable problems after updating several times. However, removing the NVIDIA apps and drivers then reinstalling resolved the issue. P.S. This might not apply to a PC setup.

Post images of ThrottleStop FIVR and TPL windows are shown. In the TPL window, adjust Power Limit 4 to 0 to turn it off; you can also set it to the maximum value of 1023. In the FIVR window, verify IccMax for both core and cache. Since your system uses Speed Shift Technology, ensure the Speed Shift section in TPL is enabled and adjust the Min and Max settings according to the recommendations.
