Did you assume a more powerful processor would boost performance? In reality, your cooling setup supports higher-end chips. I’d swap your two CPUs for a top model like the one listed here.

No, I wasn’t sure. I just needed some time until summer to get a new PC. That one was priced much higher than the 11600.

Avast is available, but certain antivirus programs may interfere with system performance. The main constraint appears to be CPU capacity—using a 11700K or switching to an AM5 platform could resolve the issue.

Impressed by the performance of third-party AVs. Windows Defender handled it well, or real-time endpoint protection was necessary for a business setting. Full agreement. CPU wasn’t upgraded—it was only sidegraded.

the frame rate stutters slightly at around 100-130 fps in bo6. i tested it locally and saw only about 1% gpu usage, which doesn’t seem typical. maybe that’s the issue?
