You're experiencing problems with your new PC setup. I've got a MSI B650 Gaming Plus Wi-Fi, a Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, and two DDR5-7200 RAM sticks. When the PC powers on, it displays a red CPU light and a yellow RAM light. You've already checked the connections and tried reseating both components.

Speed is impressive for a Ryzen. Have you tried clearing the CMOS to reset the BIOS? Has this model previously performed well? Did you test with a single stick or multiple sticks and different slot configurations?

I haven't reinitialized CMOS because it hasn't been powered on. Yes

You might consider resetting the CMOS just in case, since it’s an available choice. Fascinating. Did you also swap the CPU? Are all these components brand new purchased from a store?

You might want to attempt resetting the CMOS. Everything appears to be fresh.

Are you sure the motherboard includes a visible CMOS button? (review the manual)
