I just acquired a Gigabyte 5070 Aero and am looking for a suitable CPU setup. Since I’ve dealt with bottlenecks before, I want something smooth. I mostly play COD at 1440p, so that’s a good reference.
Not very demanding on the CPU, especially at 1440p where the GPU handles most of the work. The Ryzen 7600 works well with speeds like 4080 and 5080 without issues. It runs on the AM5 platform, offering better long-term support and upgrade options.
I’d receive a 9700X for just 20 dollars more than the 7700X. A 9600X fits within a budget of $70 less, and the 7600 is only $30 cheaper.
