CPU Questions
On the previous discussion, I was planning to buy an i9 10850k but soon the price rose from $398 to $425. Now I’m considering the I7 10700 or i7 10700f. Both cost $301 and $276. I don’t think the i7 10700k is worth $362 since I won’t overclock it, but I’m using a Z490 because I want to overclock the RAM. Please leave any feedback below it would be very useful.
Hold on, the i9 will come back down. A stronger CPU is worth the wait.
It seems the price will stay high since it's really low right now.
Be quick and choose the 10700. Alternatively, check other platforms for the 10850K. The 10700F isn't suggested since without it you won't be able to run your PC at all in today's market. The 10700 handles CPU-heavy tasks well, and if the GPU fails, the integrated graphics keep things running.
Disclaimer note: I operate outside of the United States and Canada.
Consider purchasing the 10700 when you're comfortable with reduced cores. Verify your motherboard supports video outputs compatible with your monitor, and ensure you have the necessary cables. Some premium Z490 boards no longer include these connections.
That's understandable, but I noticed the prices were from the United States.
