I would prefer not to pick it if your system matches what you want to upgrade. This power supply isn't something I'd think is safe to use.
I mainly use Debian, just a bit of Windows occasionally for some games. Would you like a solid PSU under $45?
Sadly, finding decent PSUs at such low prices is now very difficult.
This corsair model is quite affordable compared to what I'd expect today.
However, if you're willing to pay an extra 30 dollars, you can get a much better PSU like this one.
What are your thoughts on purchasing refurbished PSUs? There are quite a few differing opinions about them.
This brings up many questions and concerns.
Who actually refurbishes products?
What does "refurb" really entail?
How does the warranty compare to buying new?
What kind of discount is available when purchasing a refurbished computer part?
Personally, I wouldn't consider buying a refurbished PSU, as it's not something I'd prioritize.
It depends on individual judgment and risk tolerance.
