CPU question.
CPU question.
I searched extensively but couldn’t find an answer. For a budget build, buying a 12600KF seems tricky since they lack integrated graphics. However, with your Thunderbolt 4 motherboard and a GPU enclosure that supports Thunderbolt 4, it should work fine. You can proceed without the graphics card if needed.
It seems the setup should work perfectly based on what you know. Thunderbolt 4 is indeed Thunderbolt 4, and having a processor with built-in graphics can be handy for troubleshooting.
You're unsure about the purpose of your question. Are you looking to add DP to Thunderbolt ports for use with a dock, or are you aiming to set up an eGPU on a desktop? If it's the latter, placing it in the system might be more reliable and consistent. The exact setup depends on the motherboard layout and compatibility.
Which dock is being used? Typically, you can simply drop the EGPU into the desktop. The Thunderbolt issue on the desktop differs from laptops, and the EGPU rarely functions properly on desktops.
Sorry, I don't understand the hardware details you're referring to. I'm just planning to purchase the 12600k for an additional $20.00, confident it will fit your system. Thanks!
