CPU prices jumped sharply due to increased demand, supply constraints, or market speculation.
I recently looked at the i9 10900k in Romanian shops and noticed its price jumped about 80%—from 2,500 lei to now around 4,000 lei. That’s roughly 300 euros more. Was something unexpected happening? My last update was under 30 days ago, and prices seem to be rising again while AMD is putting pressure on Intel.
