CPU power connector for i5 10400F
Preparing to purchase an i5 10400f and an ASRock B560M motherboard. The existing power supply only has a 4-pin CPU cable, while the board requires an 8-pin connection. Will the 4-pin cable provide sufficient power, or should I upgrade to an 8-pin supply?
If your power supply unit is outdated and inexpensive, I'd go ahead and swap it out in general.
