Hey everyone! I tested Watch Dogs PC Ultra in 1080p with my i7-4770K and a GTX 780 that’s been overclocked. By turning off some cores, adjusting hyper-threading settings, and tweaking the clock speeds, I was able to run accurate tests across Chicago in just 45 seconds. I ran the same steps in the game for each CPU setup, logging the results in a file with FRAPS. Then I checked the GPU stats with RivaTuner to see load and performance details. Of course, the FRAPS recording was tougher during that pass—so the minimum FPS was near zero and the average was low compared to the video. I expect around 20–25 FPS for this CPU, but the game didn’t run smoothly at those settings. I’ll make sure to redo the capture later. Enjoy the videos!

These standards seem irrelevant to me since they only offer 1080p at 780. If improvements came, they should highlight 780 at 1440p too.

It seems you're observing a noticeable boost in performance when switching from an i5 to an i7 in Watch Dogs. Fascinating!

Great job. Add another card to ensure the CPU is fully utilized across all threads. Keep it steady and stationary—no need to rush, as this will improve accuracy.

It's actually Heeeeeey Guys from Austin Evans, highlighting how complex the game is with its multiple threads. The cores in Pentiums aren't very powerful compared to the i-series, and unless you're running at full speed, it's far from being a locked i3 or Pentium.

You aimed to demonstrate the performance differences between each CPU by running actual tests, which is exactly what I did.

It highlights how crucial the CPU becomes once you hit certain limits. The gaming experience was solid overall. No major issues with the 770 and i5 4670K.
