your pc is experiencing performance issues with demanding games, especially noticeable in certain parts and during specific titles. the temperature has risen significantly this winter, now reaching 17ºc or higher. your thermal paste changed recently, but the problem persists. you've upgraded several components including a cooler and case fan, yet temperatures remain elevated. the defragmentation and SSD updates seem to have helped a bit, but the issue continues. it's possible that dust buildup or other factors are affecting cooling efficiency.

The readings remain secure and pose no risk. Everything is under control.

I recall yesterday it hit 85º, causing the CPU to ring or buzz. I left the game in Battlefield V, but I haven’t seen those temperatures before. Can you retrieve the old temperature readings? Also, I need help resolving the slow performance issue.

It was safe at 71-75º, but the game slowed down afterward.

It's more common to notice your graphics card making a humming sound, known as coilwhine. This might originate from the CPU socket area and isn't harmful. An 85°C temperature is also acceptable and shouldn't cause performance issues.

71-75c works perfectly with the i7 4790k. It maintains performance up to about 95c during brief intervals.

85º is fine, but after 71º the game/pc becomes slower

The i7 4790k is quite outdated and may become sluggish in some modern games.

85c remains safe for the i7 4790k. The 71c readings shouldn’t cause the system to slow down.

But the mobile device might get damaged, and as I mentioned, I need the issue resolved. I don’t want any slowdowns and want to reduce temperatures. It’s strange because I haven’t changed the hardware components, maybe it’s a virus?
