Hello, I just assembled a new PC with these components: Ryzen 7600X, Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000MHz, 32 GB RAM (2x16GB), AMD Optimized DeepCool AK400, RTX 4070 MSI B650, GAMING PLUS Corsair HX750. The issue I’m facing is that when I push the CPU with tasks like Cinebench, temperatures rise above 95°C, causing throttling and occasional crashes. I’ve checked and reinstalled the cooler more than twice, confirming the thermal paste was applied correctly (see attached files). I’ve also tested touching the cooler while the CPU is hot but everything else works fine. Can you help identify the problem? Is it the processor/motherboard or a faulty cooler? Thanks in advance.
The AK400 should suffice for the 7600X and observing 95C during cinebench is entirely typical with the Ryzen 7000 line. These chips are built to operate at 95C continuously, with 95C serving as the target; it will increase before restricting clock speeds or power usage. Crashes aren’t ideal, but 95C remains safe for the AM5 7000 series CPUs.
