Hi
I own an older Alienware Aurora R3 system equipped with an upgraded graphics card and PSU.
Gigabyte Windforce GTX 780
i7 2600k @3.4GHz
8gb ram @1600MHz
The Alienware profiles in the BIOS are set for overclocking, potentially reaching up to 4.1GHz, but applying it with CPU-Z shows it stays at 3.4GHz. Each core reaches 4.1GHz, yet Cinebench scores drop slightly. Also, I can't change the base clock.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

do you have any power-saving features enabled? those might be affecting performance. temperatures could also be a factor, so I’ll monitor them. regarding cpu speed, it seems like it’s not getting enough data. i’d run a test to display the actual clock speeds in real time.
