Okay so I have a i5-7600k base clock 3.8 and I overclocked to 4.4 with voltage at 3.60. How high do ya'll think is safe before it starts getting hairy. Also I have a mid-tier AIO.

I'm not sure if the BIOS has a 3.60v setting. If it did, it could damage the processor. The frequency isn't the main concern; voltage and temperatures matter more. There are many different voltages for CPUs, cores, memory controllers, and I/O components. Core voltage should stay below 1.3v on average, and between 1.35-1.4v if you're certain about it.

Already here! Many discuss 1.4v as the boundary, but I prefer not to exceed 1.3v.

I'm not sure if you have a 3.60v in BIOS, but if it did, it would damage the processor. Frequency isn't the main concern—voltage and temperatures matter more. There are many voltages for different parts like CPU cores, memory controllers, and I/O. Core voltage should stay below 1.3v for average users, and between 1.35-1.4v if you're experienced. With 1.3v, what speed can you realistically expect?

With 1.3v, you can generally anticipate a range from around 4.4GHz to 5GHz. The exact figure varies based on several factors.
