I’m using a Ryzen 5 7600x3D with the Asus Prime X670P CSM. My setup includes an EVGA 850W SuperNOVA 850G XC and two Kingston cl36 Fury 16 GB DDR5 5600 MHZ units. I also have an Asus Tuf Gaming RTX 4070 OC.
I have a few questions:
First, my CPU overheated three times because the standoffs from the liquid cooler were unscrewed. It didn’t have pressure on the CPU, but it shut down completely until I checked the cooler and saw the issue. Now I’ve been using that CPU for about two months, and I’m not sure if it’s still working properly.
Second, since I bought a MBO, there were several problems. I think the MBO might be faulty, though I’m not certain. I usually play games normally—no overheating, but sometimes my PC runs slowly when starting Windows, like in slow motion. I have Avira antivirus installed. I switched to this one because it’s the cheapest. The system behaves strangely on startup, and the BIOS was updated to the latest version. Drivers are from Asus, but I don’t know why. I’m considering taking my PC to a service center so they can check what’s wrong. Everything comes from the same seller, and everything is covered under warranty.
Any advice would be appreciated. Yesterday I installed Windows as expected.

Running EXPO on this configuration has improved stability since I adjusted Vdd and Vddq. I raised these voltages to 1.35 V for Vdd and 1.34 V for Vddq, which is now working well. I ordered DDR5 6000 MHz CL30 from the seller, thank you. Also, I changed a setting in BIOS that clears the TPM on every restart; it seems better to keep it off unless you're changing the CPU or something similar. I wonder why it was enabled during my installation. Please share the best way to configure BIOS before any changes. Now everything looks fine.
The PC turned off because of thermal protection, which is typical. As long as you don’t keep running the system in this way, there’s nothing to worry about. How do you manage to cool the processor again? Regarding the build, what is the model and make of your case?

The optimal setting for AMD Ryzen 7000 and 9000 series chips is DDR5-6000MHz, dual channel with low latency. Is AMD’s E.X.P.O feature active in BIOS?
You might have matched the processor with a B650 chipset; otherwise it would have been more affordable to use an X670 board. What BIOS version are you using for your motherboard?
Occasionally my PC becomes sluggish when starting Windows like that.
What are your storage options?

My chassis features a Fractal Full Tower Design Pop XL Air RGB Black TG Clear Tint. I don't participate in EXPO due to stability concerns. The BIOS version is 3222, and the cooling system uses Deepcool LE 500 Marrs.
On the beach I have old certificates for internet access (operators are at fault), which might be causing the problem. Switching to phone tethering today resolved the issue, and I haven't had any problems since then. I'll keep monitoring to check for further issues.
