CPU or GPU for Home Cinema?
We possess some outdated components at home and aim to build a home cinema PC. The processor is an old AMD FX 8300 and the graphics card is an Nvidia 1050. Although I understand FX CPUs aren't great for gaming, we're considering assembling all these parts into a compact home theater setup. Generally, graphics cards play the biggest role in performance, but most builds I've seen skip them, depending on the CPU's integrated graphics. The GTX 1050 should comfortably handle a 4K 60Hz display for movies and similar content. Appreciate your help!
