Hey everyone! If fps_max is set to 0, it means the game won’t push beyond that frame rate. There might be some performance impact, but since the game is already limited to 300 FPS, it could actually help maintain stability. CPU and GPU usage might stay similar unless you change other settings.

CS:GO runs on CPU power only. The graphics card adjusts based on CPU performance, but it will continue scaling until the CPU reaches its limit. This means both parts get warmer overall.

There’s no advantage to exceeding 300fps. Perhaps a slight reduction in input lag, but that’s the extent of it.

available settings: console mode, novid, high performance, 4 threads, tick rate 128 fps max, display 144 hz monitors allowed, maximum fps 0 means no restriction, should function properly
