Asus Z690 ROG Maximus hero(ddr5) Intel i9-12900KF Msi mag coreliquid 240 Kingston DDR5 16g 5200mhz (X2) NVIDIA GeForce rtx3060 12gb dual 1000w power grid (I know it's a monster I can't handle) Windows 11 (64 bits I think). The situation is clear. I've verified all power cords, thermal paste, and the cooling system is functioning. It runs smoothly until the temperature climbs. About two months ago, it froze at critical heat, which is especially concerning given the summer conditions in Chile.

I've updated all Asus drivers and installed Armory Crate and AI Suite 3, but only when using power-saving modes did the temperatures stabilize. I attempted to run AI OC config on the BIOS, but it didn't resolve the issue. Eventually, I reset everything back to default settings, which helped for a week.

Now, when I turn it on, the internal temperature reaches around 95°C. After restarting and checking again, it spikes to 100°C within about ten minutes while I'm updating or playing games like WoW Dragonflight. The CPU usage stays low at roughly 5%, yet performance drops significantly.

I suspect the problem lies in the power consumption or overclocking. I've tried different cables but found no improvement. The BIOS shows the CPU running at 400Hz at 90°C, though this isn't consistent. It's possible the issue is with the wattage or thermal management. I haven't installed any updates since uninstalling Armory Crate and AI Suite 3, as those might cause complications.

I'm unsure what to do next. I'm writing this on my phone with no clear solution in mind. Please help me—maybe driver issues are the cause, but I doubt it. Let's see if changing cables or trying another OS helps.

They experienced a recal because of buildup, which stopped them from cooling properly. Your device seems faulty, so it’s working but not functioning effectively.

Does the AiO have any liquid inside it? The pump connected to the AiO is located in the radiator, meaning a cable should be running from there to supply power.

I notice the cooling is active, initially I assumed there were some debris in the water cooler fans, but it was actually the liquid that started the process.

Check if the tubes are heating up and feel them.

It's possible, though no specific tests are mentioned. You might want to check for suggestions or guidance.

Check the tubes leading from the pump to see if they heat up. If they become noticeably warm, it suggests the pump is circulating water effectively—though it might not always be sufficient. Refer to the video I shared for a clearer view of the MSI pumps getting clogged.

I'm working on it. Allowing the PC to remain active while I view the video.

I notice the hoses getting warm and the fluid flowing steadily. The game is running smoothly at 30 frames per second, which looks stable. Using the CPUID HWMonitor helps track temperatures, but it doesn’t directly confirm if the pump is faulty. You should check other signs like noise, vibration, or unusual behavior before concluding.
