I just completed my first PC build. After installing all the drivers and running the extract on each one, I saw that my CPU is showing 0.54ghz in Task Manager. I’m unsure how to fix this and it’s causing me concern. Please share any details you have, and I’ll help as much as possible. Thank you!

Check if the interface allows going back upward during program launches. Also, inquire about your present power plan details.

I haven't verified the increase much beyond checking Chrome. My assumption is that the power plan relates to my power supply, a 1000W gold model from Seasonic.

Avoid using Windows Power Plan. Use a demanding task like a game or CPU test to put it to the test. Newer processors operate at reduced speed when not in use to save energy.

Sure, here are some benchmarks I suggest.

I also attempted to play a game (Minecraft) but received around 4 to 12 frames per second. I plan to run a benchmark then look into the Windows power settings.

Verify your temps—thermal throttling might be happening because of missing paste, a sticker on the CPU cooler, or a faulty mount.

Check the Windows power plan for high CPU or memory usage. If resources are constrained, consider adjusting settings to free up processing power or optimize performance.
