Hello, I've been keeping an old ASUS Z270e + i5 6600K for a while and decided to sell it. About ten months ago, I didn't reset the overclock settings, and I'm wondering if they would have cleared now. Would switching back to the default configuration require replacing my current motherboard? I've heard that since the PSU connection has been cut off for a long time, the battery button might have drained the power and cleared the settings—but I'm not sure if that's reliable.
