Hi, I’m looking for some advice here. I recently cleaned my PC and replaced the thermal paste on my CPU, but after rebuilding everything, the fans and LEDs are working fine yet the motherboard still doesn’t detect the CPU. My system is a B450 Tomahawk Max with an AMD Ryzen 5 2400G. I’ve reinserted the CPU several times already, but the red LED on the motherboard keeps staying on. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Inspect the CPU pins, searching for any bent pins or numerous pins missing from their positions.

I’ve already done that too—I use rubbing alcohol and cotton swabs to prevent thermal paste from getting on the socket and CPU.
