Hello, welcome! I'm just getting started with the PC world. You mentioned running Cinebench to check performance, but the CPU temperature jumped to 127°C—though it wasn’t at full load. I read that keeping temps under 100°C is ideal, so this spike raises some concerns. After the test ended, the temperature briefly jumped back to 127°C for a moment. Could this be normal or is there an issue? Thanks for your help!

It seems the temperature reading is off, probably exceeding 100°C. You should aim to keep it under 90°C. There might be an issue with the measurement. What's your CPU cooler?

CPU coolers include the Corsair H150i, paired with the Corsair 570X case. There are three intake fans on the front of the case and three exhaust fans—two at the top and one at the back. I’ve tested it again and captured screen captures, but I’m still unsure why the temperatures are so high.

The PC would have stopped much earlier than the CPU hitting 127°C. It seems like a sensor error occurred—possibly on the motherboard (bad sensor) or Corsair Link's side. See if identical temperatures appear in HWMonitor, HWiNFO, or AIDA64. If they do, it suggests the real issue lies with the actual sensor.

You removed the plastic shield on the AIO, but the case will get very warm unless you take off the front glass piece. If your radiator is touching a glass panel, it will also heat up significantly.

Verify readings per core; if only a few are elevated, it suggests faulty sensors.

Hi everyone, I ran the test again and checked with HWMonitor. All CPU temperatures looked normal, and the package temps were also okay. It seems the link software is showing much higher readings. For instance, HWMonitor showed CPU temps under 60, but Link reported 79 or 80 this time. There’s also a faulty sensor I installed with Commander Pro that’s reading very high values on Link but not on HWMonitor. Thanks for your assistance.
