Make sure you're in the right place for this. I need a new CPU and motherboard for my office setup. I'm especially looking for something capable of managing heavy gaming loads and multiple software applications running simultaneously, plus demanding tasks like editing and rendering. My current CPU is an Intel i7-7770K at 4.20GHz. I have AMD Ryzen 5 5600X and Ryzen 9 5900X, though the latter seems a bit too powerful for my needs. While finding the perfect CPU will help with the motherboard choice, any advice on selecting a motherboard would be great too.
For smooth performance, a 5900X serves as a solid starting point.
