CPU light on motherboard blinking indicates a potential issue that needs attention.
I built my first computer recently and encountered an issue. The CPU light blinks when I power it up, even though fans are running and RGB works. There’s no display, and using a different PSU doesn’t trigger the blinking light. Plugging in a paper clip into the motherboard connector worked initially, but now it doesn’t activate when connected to the board. With another PSU, nothing happens except the red light stays off and the motherboard RGB stays on. Please assist me.
It might not be the CPU itself, but a fault in the connection or a loose component.
