Hello, I recently purchased a Ryzen 7 7800X3D with an MSI Pro B650-P Wi-Fi and Corsair Vengeance DDR5 5600MHz 32GB 2x16GB CL36. I built the whole system and it booted up without problems initially. After entering MSI BIOS and enabling the EXPO profile, the RAM clock increased to 5600MHz. I launched Windows and confirmed it was running at the right speed in the task manager. After a restart, it failed to start; the screen stayed blank and the RAM indicator stayed orange/yellow. I powered it off, reset CMOS, and tried again at the default 4800MHz. It worked initially, but when I set RAM to 5600MHz again, the CPU light activated and required removal and reinsertion. I understand RAM speeds can be sensitive, especially with the 7000 series, but the CPU light is causing concern. The system functions normally at 4800MHz with RAM, yet it struggles at 5600MHz. I’m unsure what adjustments to make in MSI BIOS or what steps to try next.
Consider turning off fast boot, as it may require memory training each time. You managed to boot 5600 once and haven't done so since? Yet 4800 still works. It might be the voltage of the CPU turning on, but RAM frequency is fluctuating. Have you updated the BIOS?
