During my visit to the doctor there was a power outage. When I returned home, I started my PC, but it seemed to malfunction. Usually my CPU runs at 4.6–4.7GHz, but this time it jumped up to around 4.9 or even 5GHz. The issue is that even though my Asus mainboard reported stability, the RGB lighting was slow and lagged. I’ve already run chkdsk /c with those commands and restored health, but it’s still not smooth. In games, I don’t see major frame drops—just general lagging on my fans and keyboard. I’m not sure if it’s the clock speed or something else, but someone could help or tell me if this has happened before.

Asus Rog Strix Gaming z390-E i7-9700k with 2x8GB and 2x8GB storage. Corsair Vengeance Nvidia RTX 2070Super Founders Edition included. I’ve noticed two different RAM speeds before, but it hasn’t caused any issues.
