Software doesn't ensure BIOS updates will happen... CPU overclocking should be attempted this way. NOTE: Just because someone achieved the same hardware setup doesn't mean it will work for you without significant effort. Edited January 16, 2021 by Eighjan
It's a great and reliable setup. Those BIOS configurations aren't affecting me. The default BIOS doesn't save changes, and my CPU is running about 30% below its potential. I suspect a BIOS tweak might be the issue, but I can't adjust it since the system boots normally with the current settings.
I get the vibe, pushing performance is my thing. I enjoy getting the most out of every bit of speed I can achieve. My setup includes an 800MHz CPU boost, 266MHz RAM speed, 200MHz GPU, and a 1GHz VRAM overclock.
I tried XTU just to see what it does... The issue is that BIOS settings don’t work in Windows. My aim isn’t to overclock, but to get it running smoothly—something is preventing it from doing so properly. My assumption is a BIOS configuration might be the problem, and I’m trying to fix that without changing anything else.
I'm not sure, but you can usually access the BIOS by restarting your computer and pressing a specific key during startup, like F2, F12, or Del during the boot process.
