Performance: Stable at 5GHz, no throttling, temps under 87°C during stress tests. In 3DMark results show significant lag (~2000 points). BIOS update resolved the issue. Anyone know what might be wrong?

I can't increase its speed through software... technically it's achievable, but I'm not keen on that. The issue is the CPU isn't working well and I can't store BIOS settings on Windows. It restarts using the default BIOS configuration.
