So I installed a new g31 motherboard into my setup and added a q6600. When I opened CPUz it displayed a voltage of 2.035. A hardware monitor confirmed the same reading. At first I was puzzled because my CPU was running at about 60 degrees, though it was only at 40 degrees when idle after reseating the HSF. After turning off the system, I realized the issue might be related to an old PSU with just 14A on the 12V rail. I'm also using a 25W GT 730 based on HTPC. Help me out guys.

If lowering the vcore isn't possible by resetting the CMOS, consider replacing the motherboard. It's already defective if it's causing such high vcore settings.
