You should try restarting or turning it off to see if that fixes the issue, but I’m not sure what’s causing it—it seems to work as shown.

Repeatedly pressing the reset or power button often triggers a restart after around 20 tries.

Adjust your CPU's voltage to the recommended value from Intel, such as 253W, and you'll see the changes under the advanced settings.

whenever I access the bios, I’ll definitely give it a shot.

you can try getting it to start without multiple restarts. It seems stuck after memory operations, with the cpu light flashing, ram switching, and then the cpu spinning while ram hangs briefly. The gpu fans stop but the cpu keeps running. This issue appears consistently on both asus and gigabyte boards. Since you've tested other components and swapped parts, it’s likely a dxe (dynamic memory allocation) problem. To investigate further, you could use windows event viewer or install a monitoring program to see what happens during reboots or startup.

If your CPU and RAM are experiencing instability, it may indicate memory issues. With DDR5 memory, performance can vary significantly depending on system configuration—sometimes taking hours, other times just a few minutes. The problem usually resolves once the process completes, but it may persist until you change your memory or CPU settings, update the BIOS, or reset the system. Using a single RAM stick instead of dual-channel can improve speed since it avoids dual-channel overhead. In older systems, pressing the ESC key during boot would show memory activity, and you could disable the splash screen in BIOS, though that feature is no longer available.

It’s caught me off guard, especially with memory issues. I wish I could watch what’s happening in real time.
